Here we go!
Finally, after about 4 months of preparation, 12 hours of flying. I sit at the window and study the cloud images, it’s interesting how different the formations look, since arriving on the South American continent they seem to be higher, because here we are now moving in the haze, which is why I unfortunately can’t see anything of the rainforest yet. I fly over Iquitos, the place where I will soon be looking up from below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite being 11,500 meters above sea level and travelling at 930 km\/h, I have internet on the plane to write WhatsApp messages and listen to podcasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s it like to do something new that you’ve never done before? That also applies to me in this situation, I’m about to do something that I haven’t done before, at least not in Peru. Lukas’ approach: just do it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
