My strength is returning, not least because I can relax so well in this beautiful hotel. The welcome was fantastic, as was the view. From up here, with a certain distance, I look down on the place where I was just two days ago. With this (quite luxurious) distance, my view of the country and its people is completely different. Being right in the middle of it all felt very authentic.
But this lodge here is great, of course! The view is magnificent! And the welcome gift of rice cakes is delicious!

Of course, I knew all along that what happened could happen. Without fear, I ate and drank everything that was offered to me. Of course, it could have gone wrong. It is now clear that I ate the stuffed stomach of a catfish, filled with sesame mushrooms, pork, and herbs. So it wasn’t a frog. 😊 The stomach was fried. So there are several options for my psychedelic blackout.

But now I’m recovering well. With this fantastic breakfast, it’s naturally difficult for me to listen to my stomach, which is still quite vocal, but soup for breakfast certainly can’t hurt. And soon my beloved will be here too.
